After Weigel broadcasting announced that they were becoming the new CW affiliate for the Chicagoland area they had to build excitement about the move, inform viewers about where to watch their shows, and introduce new viewers to long running shows from The CW Network. To help solve these problems I launched the Get To Know The Stars digital campaign.
The campaign was comprised of one to two minute social media friendly videos shot in studio and repurposed from our news team’s red carpet interviews to maximize our video content across platforms. The results included social media engagement from CW talent and over 15,000 social media views.
